Aston Martin Geneva has taken delivery of something rather special, which is why they enlisted the services of the guys at Future Photography for a proper photoshoot. The car in question is an Aston Martin Vulcan track car finished in a super mean matte black with red accents.

Limited to only 24 units worldwide, Aston Martin Vulcan is an extremely rare, extremely expensive hyper car that also has limited use, what with it being a full-on racing car designed only for track work. But it’s a hugely desirable thing and a solid investment, as prices are already on the rise. An American dealer is asking $3.4 million for a red example, which is a lot more than what the $2.3 million MSRP.

At any rate, the Aston Martin Vulcan available in Geneva is one of the more interesting examples of the hyper track car on account of its special paint job and tastefully done red accenting. You get them on the bumpers around the aero parts, on the side, on the bonnet, and of course, inside the cabin in form of stitching and piping.

Just to recap, the Vulcan is powered by a naturally-aspirated, 7.0-litre V12 petrol engine out of the One-77, tuned to make over 800 horsepower here. The car also boasts a carbon fibre monocoque, integral limited-slip differential, magnesium torque tube with carbon fibre propeller shaft and Brembo racing calipers acting on carbon ceramic racing disc brakes, rear mid-mounted Xtrac six-speed sequential shift gearbox, Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve (DSSV) adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars front and rear, driver-adjustable anti-lock braking, and variable traction control.
