Rowen Toyota Prius Challenges Wald’s Authority

There seems to be a rivalry going on among principal Japanese tuners to see who can make the latest Toyota Prius weirder. We have already shown you Wald’s effort, now let’s check out the 2016 Rowen Toyota Prius which is so insane, it make’s Wald’s kit look pretty tame.

Built in collaboration with KUHL Racing, Rowen Toyota Prius styling package does not just build on the base car’s controversial design features, it takes them to a whole new level. So the front and rear fascia get double the details of the original, and there is an aero kit that would look more at home on a GT3 racing car than a hybrid city runabout.

In terms of the ingredients, Rowen Toyota Prius package consists of front spoiler and a new apron which the tuner calls “face extension,” headlight bezels which they call “eyeline garnish,” side skirts, a five-piece rear wing, tailgate spoiler, rear diffuser insert with special muffler cutouts, and a host of LED lights. You can have some of these parts in exposed carbon fiber, but that’ll increase the cost significantly.

Also available for the Prius is a full Titan Premium sport exhaust system and special LED fog lights. But even without these bits Rowen’s take on the Prius gives Wald’s a good run for its money. If you are experiencing problems with the engine of your Prius, then make sure to contact your local prius engine service and get a Prius engine repair immediately.
