It sounds like a simple question. But when you delve into the issue, when you actually have to write the check, you realize it is not at all a simple matter choosing between the Alfa Romeo 4C and the new Audi TT. These are two of the top sports coupes in the market right now and picking a winner among them is a delicate and perilous job. Granted, the 4C here is the Spider version, but it’s basically the same as the coupe.

So we had over to two experienced road testers who make a living judging the merits of sports car, Jason Cammisa and Jonny Lieberman from the Motor Trend tribe:

Frankly, if we were in the market for a fun and handsome sports coupe we wouldn’t even care about the technicalities. For us it’d be the Alfa without a moment’s doubt. But not many people share our passion for hot Italian sports cars. Many prefer the quality and efficiency of a German car, and that’s fine. But those guys should work a bit harder and get a Porsche Cayman because, well, the Audi is a bit of a weak tea, isn’t it?
