Hamann is taking their sweet time over developing the promised aero kit for the BMW M2 but it seems the bugger is finally ready to take the tuning scene by storm. These are the first photos of Hamann BMW M2 sporting the body kit they first announced last year, and it’s looking somewhat peculiar.

Maybe that’s because this particular Hamann BMW M2 uses white aero parts on a white body and that is making the whole thing look kinda fat. But Hamann has to do a lot better with the finished product if they want to have something to say against the truly amazing kits that are in the pipeline for the M2.

What they are proposing at this stage incudes a rather massive front spoiler lip that sits on the stock front bumper and gives it more girth, a pair of side skirts, and, one would imagine, a rear diffuser along with some kind of rear boot spoiler.

We reckon if these parts were finished in gloss black, or if they were clear coated carbon fiber, the end result would have looked better, and we’re basing that judgment on how cool those black Evo wheels look on the car. But let’s wait for the finished version of Hamann BMW M2 to arrive before discussing its merits or lack thereof.
