SEMA Preview: Hyundai Rockstar Santa Fe Concept

Hyundai Rockstar Santa Fe 600x372 at SEMA Preview: Hyundai Rockstar Santa Fe Concept

Hyundai’s lineup of extreme cars for this year’s SEMA Show seems to be very Santa Fe heavy. Following the 1000-hp Santa-Fast by Bisimoto they are showing us a sneak preview of the Hyundai Rockstar Santa Fe, another concept built in collaboration with Rockstar Performance Garage.

As you can clearly see in the official rendering, Hyundai Rockstar Santa Fe concept is a super off-roader with jacked-up suspension and massive wheels and tires. But it’s not just show and no go. The off-roader features a Hyundai-based 3.3L V6 engine boosted to Rockstar with nitrous injection, among other modifications. They haven’t revealed yet how much power this unit makes, but we won’t’ be surprised at all if at its peak the Rockstar Santa Fe matches the output of that Bisimoto thing.
