Chevrolet could not turn up at the SEMA show without at least one custom pickup truck. So to take care of that they teamed up with a surfing company to present the fans with the Colorado Z71 Hurley concept, pitched as a “a mobile beach command center.”

They don’t say a command center for what, but since Colorado Z71 Hurley is packed full of surfing gear we reckon its commanding a good time. The vehicle features a custom surfboard rack, storage systems and even water-resistant seat covers made from advanced ventiprene, a breathable material similar to the neoprene used in surfing wetsuits. It also gets custom carrier system that mounts a pair of Pyzel surfboards on the roof and a custom Bimini-style bedcover and Thule rack.

But there is more to Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Hurley than the surfing stuff. The Seafoam Green truck, based on the Crew Cab model, is also jacked up lifted suspension, 17-inch Chevrolet Accessories wheels and Goodyear DuraTrac all-terrain tires. It also features skid plates, off road lights, and inside Khaki Green and Sand Dune-colored upholstery and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Then there is the engine, which is a 3.6L V-6 equipped with Chevrolet Performance concept exhaust system to develop 308hp and 275 lb.-ft. of torque.
