Today Bentley released this dark image and a short video to give us a preview of the upcoming Grand Bentley replacement, the new Arnage. The car that Bentley describes as “all new”. So does it mean the 6.75 liter V8 will be gone? Will it look totally different than the current Arnage?

Well, we have to wait for Pebble Beach Concourse d´Elegance to find out because that’s when the new Arnage will be unveiled. It probably will be identical to the new Rolls Royce Ghost, same sort of size, power and price. Of course it’s not likely that Bentley mess around and ruin the character of Arnage, but some cosmetic changes are necessary  for a fresh new car.

But after all, whether it’s new or not, it’s an Arnage. And this name has a sense of invincibility! I don’t mean it’s a brilliant car, no not even slightly. It’s always been a bad car if you judge it by the usual standards, but the feel of that thing is just magnificent. It’s an exquisite car. Actually it’s the exact opposite of its younger brother, Continental GT. Because the Arnage is a bad but desirable car while GT is a very good car that is somehow cold and frankly a bit cocky! Given the choice, you always go for the mighty Arnage.
