Finally, Aston Martin made the move and officially revealed the production version of their four-door ultra luxury sedan, the car that was shown as a concept ages ago,the Rapide. You gotta say, it was worth the wait! The design is based on the DB9 series, which means from every angle, this coup-styled sedan is unbelievably pretty.

Although it’s a sedan, you may consider it as a hatchback! because it has a big hatch at the back which literally is the car’s fifth door. But that doesn’t matter. What’s really important is that the Rapide makes Porsche Panamera look like a sick sheep!

The Rapide accommodates four individuals inside in absolute comfort and luxury. The interior of the car looks even fancier than a luxury yacht! Best quality wood and leather, Bang & Olufsen audio system, big monitors, advanced LED lighting,… you name it. It is a fabulous place to be in, well mostly as a passenger because the dashboard looks the same as the DB9 and is a bit old!

Rapide’s source of power id the familiar 6.0 liter V12 engine which has literally run Aston Martin for decades! It develops 470 hp and 600 nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed touchtronic autobox with paddle shifters. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of over 188 mph.
