The best thing about Frankfurt Motor Show is that beside the great number of new car debuts, there are also an equally great number of tuned and modified cars on display. And companies always save their best works for this event, like this amazing Ferrari California from German tuner Hamann, which honestly is one of their coolest works.

As usual, Hamann’s tuning program is divided in two parts, Engine and Appearance. As for the engine, Hamann promises 20 percent more power than standard via a new exhaust system and re-mapped ECU. California’s V8 now delivers 460 hp.

Other technical modifications include the race-tuned suspension which lowers the ride height and in combination with Hamann’s new 21 inch EDITION RACE wheels, enhances the handling as well. These wheels not only improve dynamics, are also very good looking specially in this matte black color which has a nice contrast with the white paint job.

Hamann’s body kit for the California, apart from enhancing the looks of the car, has aerodynamic purposes. The front spoiler reduces the lifting forces of the California which significantly improves the handling and agility. Moreover, the unobtrusive side skirt set calms the airflow between both axles. And moreover, a back spoiler increases the contact pressure.

So although it might look a bit boy racer-ish but considering California’s funky character, it fits nice. The cabin of this car is also one of the finest ever made by Ferrari, with its amazing blend of leather and carbon trimming. Nevertheless, Hamann has a personalization program for that as well, ranging from personalized floor mats to a perfectly finished complete leather interior. We are not huge fans of Hamann works, but gotta say, this is a job well-done!
