Lexus has significantly updated its high performance IS-F saloon for the British market in 2010. The new model is priced at £55,595 and instead of a fancy electronic diff, it comes with a new limited slip differential so the 5.0-litre V8 engine of this M3 killer wannabe can deliver its 416hp and 505 nm of torque to the ground better before.
So the IS-F is now capable of doing zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 168mph.
It is also fitted with a new satellite navigation system, powered by a 40GB hard disc drive (HDD) with 10GB of disc space available for owners to store tracks from CD, and a 14-speaker Mark Levinson 5.1 surround sound system which now gets DAB digital broadcasts and a USB port.
Other options include a new white leather interior in place of the standard black finish and with new mesh-design 19-inch alloy wheels instead of the standard 10-spoke design, which can be chosen for no cost at all.
