… And I am now officially going to shoot myself! Land Rover is undoubtedly one of the world’s coolest brands but the way they are planning for future, is not cool at all. It is just very green. After all with TATA money, they are confident enough to be ambitious. This car you see here is called the Range-e (!) and it’s a full-on Range Rover Sport except for the fact that it’s a diesel hybrid.

The car is planned to be launched in the next 2 or 3 years and when it does, it’ll offer great mileage plus emission-free driving as you can drive it under pure electric mode for nearly 32 kilometers. Also Range Rover is determined to loose weight in the upcoming models and they are serous about this!

The other news about Land Rover is even more depressing. You know the LRX compact SUV, the baby Range Rover which is due to arrive next year with a Land Rover badge and will be launched as a sporty coupe?! Well, for the first time in the history of the brand, and for some complicating marketing reasons, they are going to offer it with a Front-Wheel-Drive system. A non 4×4 Land Rover! Can you believe it? Do not despair though, because you can still order it with 4WD system.
