Hyundai has released the new facelifted edition of the Grandeur, also known as Azera, in Australia. The new 2011 model features a number of cosmetic changes along with upgraded equipments, but the choice of engines remain the same as before. The new Grandeur features a new grille, new bumper and new headlights.
It also has revised rear lights plus a new rear spoiler and exhaust pipes. A black piano finish has been applied to the B-pillar, providing a seamless flow between front and rear windows. The car is also 15mm longer than the old model which means it’s more spacious inside.
The Azera used to be Hyundai’s most luxurious model before the Genesis and Equus arrive, but it still offers a decent amount of kit for a very reasonable price. The interior has been updated with a revised metal finish centre floor console, providing a more modern and contemporary feel. New features of this model include one-touch triple turn signal, and puddle lamps.
The car is also packed with safety features including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control System (TCS), four-channel, four-sensor Anti-skid Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), as well as eight airbags as standard. As usual the car comes with Hyundai’s five Year / Unlimited Kilometre Warranty.
