The lovely little Hyundai i20 has been revised for the UK market with upgraded engines which have become greener and an enhanced interior. The car also gets some slight aerodynamic tweaks such as adding a small spoiler for increased efficiency. It’s fitted with Eco Drive indicator too, which tells you the best time to change gears.

Enhancements for the interior includes blue illumination instead of previous red, and the addition of Bluetooth phone connectivity with voice recognition.

As for the engines, the 1.2-litre petrol engine has become even cleaner at 119g/km CO2 rating, and so has the 1.4-litre version with 4.3mpg improvement in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of 129g/km. The two diesel engines also see significant savings, with the 75PS model dropping by 6g/km to just 110g/km. The 90PS version gains a six-speed gearbox which helps it achieve a 7.2% improvement in fuel economy.

Pricing for the revised Hyundai i20 starts from £9,520. All models come with Five Year Warranty, ESP and air conditioning as standard.
