As one of the oldest Ford tuners with 20 years of experience, BBR is offering the ultimate tuning package for the Ford Focus RS Mk2 which consists of four different levels with different power output for every budget. It’s mostly based on BBR’s StarChip ECU remap, but for higher grades they also add modified inlets, filters, exhausts and finally turbochargers.
Phase one of BBR program which is priced at just £595.00 will adjust a few settings in the ECU and deliver 342 HP and 369 ft/lbs. Phase two also replaces the RS MK2’s standard inefficient intercooler with BBR’s own high flow unit and also add a high flow air filter so it can manage 355 HP and 378 ft/lbs. This kit costs £1245.00, with a fitting charge of £195.00.
Then there’s the Phase three in which the complete exhaust system is replaced with a BBR 3″ stainless steel exhaust that includes a sports catalyst (retaining emissions legality) and also adds BBR spec high flow fuel injectors to the changes of phase one and two. As a result it develops a full 382 HP and 388 ft/lbs. This one is priced at £2495.00, with a fitting charge £345.00.
And finally the full-fat phase four. It features BBR specification high flow fuel pump and BBR Hybrid turbo charger which delivers a massive 404 HP and 408 ft/lbs. But it’s quite pricey £3895.00, with a fitting charge of £595.00.
BBR also offers other upgrades for the Focus RS such as suspension system which includes Koni dampers and sport BBR springs suitable for road and track use.
