To provide German customers and enthusiasts with the latest branded merchandise and also exclusive events, Aston Martin opened a new store in Munich, in place of their main dealership. From this month the location will become home to Aston Martin’s largest retail store worldwide offering merchandise, clothing collections, accessories, and luggage items as well as exclusive executive gifts.
Dr. Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin Chief Executive: “After our dealer moved into a more spacious location in Munich, we felt that such an attractive location was a special attraction point and should be further developed as a part of Aston Martin. Munich is perfect for this. We hope that this new store will share the success of our first retail store which opened at the Nürburgring just a year ago and also signal the possibility for further developments globally.”
The Aston Martin Store in Munich pursues a new concept ’Fashion – Lifestyle – Art – Events‘ that unites these elements all under one roof in an area of 240 m2. The philosophy of the store is to provide visitors with a unique retail environment with current visitors able to view the DBS from James Bond film, Casino Royale, which is currently on display in the store.
An emphasis placed on the interior design has been to integrate exhibits of the Aston Martin Art Collection. This also incorporates all the interior equipment allowing for the flexibility of the store to transform into a unique and classical event location catering to both the company’s special occasions and the availability for private bookings.
The renowned Swiss watch maker and brand partner of Aston Martin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, will also be present showcasing selected time pieces from their range.
The opening of the Munich store coincides with the international debut of the Aston Martin Jewellery Collection, designed by Australian Jewellery Designer John Calleija of Calleija Jewellers. This inaugural collection is inspired by the beauty, power and soul of the iconic brand and will be available on sale alongside its present collection. The store in Munich is the only representation of the jewellery brand on the European mainland.
