From January 2011 a hybrid version of the new Hyundai Sonata will be added to the range, featuring the firm’s Hybrid Blue Drive technology and lithium-polymer batteries. The Sonata Hybrid, which doesn’t look just as good as normal models, has 40-mpg highway fuel economy rating – 35 mpg city and 37 mpg combined – which are very impressive figures for a car of this size.
Prices for the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid start at $25,795 for the standard model, and $30,795 is equipped with the Premium Package.
