The other member of Toyota Prius family revealed at NAIAS is this C Concept, in which the C stands for city-centric. The idea is that if you have a large family you get the Toyota Prius V, if you are like normal you get the regular Prius, and if you are all on your own you get this compact version!
The C Concept will spawn a production version sometime in 2012 and Toyota is sure that it’ll be the most value-oriented hybrid in the U.S. market with the highest mileage of any “cordless” hybrid. The car offers better efficiency than the current Prius, mainly becasue it’s smaller, but a spacious interior and the same level of technology. It will have more urban appeal as the normal Prius.
