Loder1899 decided to take a break from making ultra-hot Ford Focus RS models and work on a mini-MPV for a change. So they picked the new Ford C-Max for the project.

The C-Max is a good starting pint because this family car is very good-looking and kinda cool, in its segment at least. They’ve added a discrete body kit to the car with front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and a tailgate wing. Not to mention you get different choices for the wheels from 17 to 20 inch in size. For the sake of a better look and also better handling, they’ve also lowered the car by 35 mm.

It is under the bonnet though where things are really interesting. The C-Max is powered by a 2.0-liter TDCI diesel unit that has a standard output of 163 hp and 240 Nm. Loder1899 fiddles with the car’s ECu and also bolts on some new exhausts. The result is a bump in power up to 190 hp and 390 Nm.

That means 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 263 km/h. Not bad for a small school bus!
