The first Aston Martin iPhone app called ‘Explore’ was a free app for those who don’t have a Aston. The new one though, called ‘Experience’ is more useful for the owners. Oh, and it’s not free!

Aston Martin has used the amazing possibilities of the iPhone to create a unique app with technology never before seen. . The technology featured in the marque’s latest App has been designed to meet the exceptional standards of engineering, luxury and quality synonymous with the iconic British marque, including guides to the world’s 40 most exciting cities developed in conjunction with ‘A Hedonist’s Guides.

The ‘Experience’ allows users to discover some of the world’s best driving roads and circuits with ‘Top Roads’ using the phone’s built in GPS. That’s why it’s suited for Aston owners, because only with a great car like an Aston Martin you can really feel the absolute joy of driving a great car on a great road.

Further features include a camera function which allows passengers to film their drive experience, while an on screen speedometer measures the speed of the journey and augments into the view. Imagine how big an accident you could have trying to record a bigger number o the screen! Awesome feature.

The Experience App includes the Accelerator featured in ‘Explore’ but now gives users the option of engine notes from the entire Aston Martin model range, including the 7.3 litre V12  One-77 supercar. Aston will also provide regular updates for this £3.49 / $5.99 app.
