Speaking to Reuters at the Global Luxury and Fashion summit, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann reveals his company is going to add an “everyday” model to its lineup.
Winkelmann said: “We are going to have a third model. It has to be an everyday car. We want to have a car which is able to be used on a daily basis.” Now, those who are half aware of what’s going on inside the Italian factory will tell you for sure that this everyday Lamborghini is indeed the production version of the Estoque concept. A super saloon in the same class as Aston Rapide and Porsche Panamera, which we’ve been waiting for since 2008.
With the great interest shown to the new Ferrari FF as a practical and versatile supercar, Lamborghini is pretty much convinced they need a more usable supercar as well. Something a little less crazy than their current lineup of Gallardo and Aventador.
