Here we have the latest luxury goods by high-end car makers Bentley and Lamborghini. These days, apparently, just making cars is not enough to earn a living!
First we have the Bentley Room at Mosimann’s, the renowned private London dining club, which has been updated with a new dash of Bentley décor and detailing. It is ought to reflects an innovative and fresh aspect of the Bentley brand.
The room was designed by Caulder Moore, which also designed the Bentley Living Room at the company’s headquarters in Crewe, in 2010. It has seating for 14, standing room for 28, and is decorated wonderful photographs of great racing moments and Bentleys old and new.
Then there’s the Bentley and Estede solid gold sunglasses. They are made by Estede, using their rich experience in manufacturing high-end eyewear, and Bentley design language. Bentley isn’t just making sunglasses, but also has expanded into making other wear, such as lenses from Pure Optical and the ilk.
The initial styles are timeless but modern in shape, available in either 18ct solid gold, silver palladium or platinum. The characteristic Bentley “B” settled in hand-polished enamel coating, as well as carefully engraved surfaces, reflecting the quilted leather design, are some of the unique elements of this first collection.
All the frames and sunglasses are made to order, individually numbered and limited to 100 pieces per colour variation. No word on pricing, but they are sure more expensive than your ordinary car.
After that we have the Automobili Lamborghini carbon fiber bags. Created by Lamborghini and made in Italy, the unisex collection consists of Travel-, Messenger- and Envelope-style bags. They each possess a pure design and are completed in fine hand-stitched leather, palladium-finish galvanized brass accessories, hand-mounted studs and cotton lining.
The soft Travel bag is a trunk-style carrier with two handles and measures 20x9x11 inches. Designed to be carried on an air plane as carry-on luggage, its shape is highlighted by luxurious detail and a spacious internal pocket. The Messenger bag measures 15x4x12 inches and has been designed as a laptop carrier. It has an adjustable strap and three separate compartments, as well as a zip-up pocket to protect smaller objects inside. The Envelope-style bag completes the product range, measuring 13×12 inches and is perfect for carrying notebooks, as they are easily accessible if placed in the open back pocket, or protected in the zip-up pocket. There are also compartments for a wallet, cell phone and writing utensils.
