Ford too decided an easy way to put on a greener face is to make a bicycle. In fairness though, it’s way more than just a bicycle.

The Ford E-Bike concept, unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show, is just a technical showcase of the flexibility of Ford’s design language which is not limited to cars, and also a demonstration of Ford’s electric mobility competence. They are not going to make it.

This high-tech E-Bike features a motor in the front wheel hub, a lithium-ion battery concealed in the frame, promising a range of up to 85km on a full charge, an integrated controller and patented magnetostriction sensor technology from the world of Formula One, which convert magnetic energy into kinetic energy, and vice versa.

The bike also offers three driving, or riding, modes: Economy, Comfort and Sport.
