Aston Martin is basically re-selling the Toyota iQ to the Japanese, who made it in the first place, for three times the price with the launch of its Cygnet in Japan and Honk Kong.

The trendy little Cygnet is a relevant product for Honk Kong though, as most of the world’s millionaires at some point take refuge in that corner of the world. With prices starting from $603,578 HKD and ¥4,750,000 YEN, the Cygnet is like a designer handbag for those who like to travel in style.

What sets the car apart from the i! is the attention to details, craftsmanship, and the materials used to garnish it, including six ‘Race Collection’ paint schemes, hexagon perforated leather and quilted Alcantara.

The car is also loaded with equipment like ABS, nine airbags, stability control, electronic brake assist and retractable door mirrors to a luxurious interior specification, including keyless entry and start and heated seats, all packed into a car that is just three metres long.

Deliveries of Aston Martin Cygnet in the aforementioned countries expected in the first quarter of 2012.

There are also two limited and special models customers can order at launch:
