Ferrari Enzo Replacement – New Details

Ferrari Enzo at Ferrari Enzo Replacement New Details

You thought Ferrari has become all about four-wheel-drive and folding hardtop. But no, they are actually working on a replacement for the great Enzo hyper car, and here we have some details on it.

According to reports from Maranello, Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa has confirmed the next Enzo, yet to be named, will be powered by a mid-mounted V12 engine and will feature a carbon composite construction.

Just the fact that it will be a V12 is a reason to celebrate. Many people thought Ferrari will follow the downsizing path and bin the V12s for good.

However, the next Enzo is very likely to get a hybrid system and KERS to help it become more efficient without major compromise on performance. Such systems definitely have their uses, but I don’t know, hybrid and Ferrari just don’t sound good together.

Still, the ingredients are stacking up for something truly amazing. Will Ferrari go after the Veyron with their next hyper car?
