As an affordable sports coupe, the new Hyundai Veloster will be bought mostly by young people, who are more likely to crash. So it’s comforting to know it’s has a five star safety rating.
The EuroNCAP recently tested the Veloster, along with a wide range of other new models, and awarded this little Korean car with maximum points which is five stars. It scored 96% in adult occupant, 49% in pedestrian safety, 89% in child occupant and 71% in safety assist.
These are astonishing records. Well, apart from the pedestrian one. If you saw one of these cars coming fast towards you go hide behind a tree!
