Porsche Design, as you know, makes all kinda stuff. From shoes, to toys, even hookah pipes. And here’s the new mobile phone they designed, the BlackBerry P’9981.

Design-wise, it’s like Porsche Design Adidas shows. It is classy and very neat, but somehow not chic, not desirable.

The PE BlackBerry features a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.2 GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording, 8 gig storage, NFC, and all the features you expect from a smartphone. Porsche contribution, apart from the design, can be found on the back where there’s a leather cover, and by holding the phone and feeling its stainless steel case. The phone also benefits from a bespoke user interface.

Porsche Design BlackBerry P’9981 has a price tag of around $2,000. I stick with iPhone. Thank you!
