Mercedes AMG Petronas 2012 Formula 1 car will be publicly unveiled at the Circuit de Catalunya on 21 February 2012, but here’s a little teaser video to get your engine revving.
In this preview video we only get an onboard view with as a camera-riddled driver takes the W03 round the Silverstone track in Britain. The car has already been spied at the track, and yes, it does have the step nose. But they’ve given it a cool livery to compensate.
Michael Schumacher will be driving the car throughout the debut day in Barcelona, and will therefore conduct his media interview session at the close of running, followed by Ross Brawn.
The W03 car is said to be some kind of technical witchcraft, so much so that it provoked Adrian Newey’s envy! Of course, there’s no way we can be sure of that unless we see the car’s performance in a Grand Prix.
