Not all of Lexus engineers are bald, boring old men who want more cars like the RS and ES. There are some nutters in there as well, guys who came up with the IS-F, and the LF-A super car. Now these guys are pushing the top brass into approving the long-rumored GS-F, the BMW M5-rivalling version of the GS sedan.

They are only waiting for the go ahead. They have big plans.

It is not hard to imagine what would the car look like, given the GS F Sport that’s already on sale. It will be like that on steroid. It’s the engine that matter most, and we’re hearing some heartwarming news regarding that. Some say The GS-F will probably get a version of the race-bred V10 engine that powers the LF-A. Not with the full 550 hp output, but hey, it’s a V10.

If that’s the case then, Lexus has a chance to challenge the M5 and Mercedes E63. If you know someone influential at Lexus, please give him a jingle and ask him to make this car!
