Movado Replaces Panerai As Ferrari’s Official Watchmaker

ferrari panerai at Movado Replaces Panerai As Ferraris Official Watchmaker

Ferrari recently ended its partnership with the Italian watchmaker Panerai, a long and fruitful partnership that result in some of the most exquisite watches in the market. Ferrari is still interested in the watch business though, so they teamed up with another famous brand, Movado. Good news, or rather the bad news, is the new line of Ferrari watches are going to be more affordable.

Panerai watches were expensive because they were exclusive limited editions with amazing design and great luxury feel. Movado is fine too, but nowhere near as cool as Panerai.

It’s better for Ferrari, of course, because at the end of the day they want to sell more branded merchandise and make more money. Movado Ferrari watches are apparently going to cost like a a third of what the cheapest Panerai did. A Panerai would set you back at least $6,000, while you will be able to get a top of the line Movado for like two grands.

But then the Panerai is like a mansion on your wrist. The Movado, well, that’s more like a bungalow!

The new Movado Ferrari watch collection will debut at the Annual Watch & Jewelry Fair in Basel next year.
