It’s getting kinda hard to keep track of Jeep’s special edition Wranglers. This is the new one, called the Ultimate Altitude Edition, which follows the footsteps of the Wrangler Call of Duty: MW3 and Arctic models, but is based on Wrangler Unlimited Sahara model. Whatever, It’s a pretty cool Wrangler, and because they’re only making 4,500 units, it’s going to be exclusive too.
The Unlimited Altitude edition of the Wrangler features a body-colored hardtop, eighteen-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels with black-painted spokes and polished wheel rings. Those are the main exterior details. It also gets Mopar black fuel fill door, a matte black “Jeep” grille badge and a black tone-on-tone hood graphic.
Inside, there’s a black-and-red theme, with red stitching on the black leather seats, door panels, center arm rest, floor mats and steering wheel. Other blacked-out trim pieces that give a unique look and feel to the cabin include vent rings, steering-wheel spokes, door pulls and passenger-side dashboard grab handle and berber floor mats.
Powered by the renowned 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine – developing 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque – Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition goes on sale next month, starting from $33,740.
