Roush, the greatest name in Mustang tuning business after Shelby, announced details of its upgrade programs for the 2013 Ford Mustang. As always, Roush provides different stages of tuning to cater to a broader audience. But regardless of the power and performance, all programs come with a nicely-designed body kit that makes your ‘Stang look way cooler than standard.
Let’s begin with the most powerful Stage 3 kit, which is obviously what you want. The main highlight of this package is the ROUSH supercharger bolted on the top of the Mustang’s 5.0 liter V8 engine. It will boost the power up to 565 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque to create one of the best performing Mustang’s ever built by the American tuner.
Stage 3 also features everything stage 1 and 2 offers, including visual and chassis upgrades, in addition to the RS3 graphics package and and an interior treatment with custom gauge cluster, floor mats and special badges.
Stage 1 and 2, respectively, provide the body kit – including front and rear spoilers side skirts, rear wing and diffuser – and upgraded chassis – including 18-inch by 10-inch cast aluminum wheels, sport stiffened springs, twin-tube shocks as well as upgraded bushings and jounce bumpers.
