It’s been three days since the new SRT Viper was unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, and we still can’t take our eyes off it! We’re amazed how SRT got it spot on perfect. Not just in terms of design, but also the performance and technology. They could have copied Ferrari and go mad with electronic stuff, but they kept the Viper the way it should be, raw and simple. It’s a sledgehammer.
Of course, for the first time ever the Viper is fitted with traction control, which is a bit sissy, but that is mandatory these days. It’s still got a V10, a long bonnet, massively fat tires, and side exhausts. And it’s more powerful than ever. It is still scary as hell and fast as “BEEP”.
Now, SRT has released a couple of new videos explaining the details of the new Viper from the exterior design, to the interior, to the powertrain, and even the racing version. So, check ’em out…
