When car makers want to celebrate their Facebook milestones they send a car out to drift and burn rubber, because the fans like that. But Ducati, celebrating reaching one million fans, has come up with a real treat for them: a first-person tour of the factory. Shot from the eye-level-view of a “fan”, the innovative video records a visit to the Ducati factory in Bologna, first arriving by motorcycle and then touring the various departments. The camera man also uses a Facebook-style thumbs up to like each part. Neat.
Real Ducati fans will definitely enjoy this exclusive tour that shows them what’s really going on in the factory where some of the world’s finest motorcycles are built. It includes everything from the Ducati Design Centre to the Production Line and from Ducati Corse to Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden testing at nearby Mugello, “thank you” is creatively communicated in 12 different languages.
