Hofele Design released a new version of its Cayster 670 GT, based on Porsche Cayenne II, and it’s a much more thorough job than the last Cayster we saw. Looking more like a Cayenne from Mansory or TopCar, the new Hofele Cayster offers engine tuning even for the diesel and hybrid models. There’s also an interior treatment. Like we said, thorough.
On the outside, a wide-body kit with massive air intakes, vented bonnet, power domes, flared arches, side skirts, a rear diffuser and four tailpipes, turn the Cayenne from a big ugly SUV into a real eye-catcher.
The car loses none of its charm inside the cabin, where you are greeted by bi-colour “StarLight” leather upholstery, decorative stitching and trims, as well as sport steering wheel. For wheels, Hofele recommends “REVERSO II”, in the sizes 20″ and 22″.
As mentioned, the tuner also provides engine treatments for the less popular Cayenne models. Hofele Design increases the power of the 3.0 TDI V6 from 245 HP to 300 HP and the torque from 550 Nm to 650 Nm. For the Cayenne S Hybrid Hofele-Design increases the power from 380 HP to 481 HP and the torque from 580 Nm to 737 Nm.
The Cayster also comes with an adjustable air suspension system that changes the ride height depending on the speed. You can also override it manually.
