Caterham’s pilot Vitaly Petrov recently complained about Mugellos circuit, where Formula 1 teams have been performing some tests since last week. Well, Mark Webber (Red Bull) decided to play a bit with the situation and together with Jenson Button “mocked” the Russian pilot.

Through Twitter, the Australian posted a picture of Jim Clark at Aintree Circuit, England. In that picture Clark was driving very close to some houses placed on track’s side.

“Great picture of Jimmy Clark. Saturday, April 28, 1962, at Aintree. I wonder if V Petrov was there” Webber wrote.

Jenson Button, McLaren Mercedes’ pilot, reacted with a laugh also via Twitter: “Haha!”

Vitaly Petrov criticized the conditions of Mugellos circuit, he said that it wasn’t “safe” and not even “large enough”. These comments a caused generalized reaction. Webber, for example, was the most enthusiast. “Doing 10 laps here is the same as making a thousand laps in Abu Dhabi’s track” he said at the time.
