The Ferrari Cavalcade is another amazing service provided by the Italian super car maker for the owners to drive their cars on the roads and streets of the Italian countryside in Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, where legendary races such as Mille Miglia used to be held. The event also includes driving tour at some of the world’s best race tracks; Mugello and Imola, and Ferrari’s own test track Fiorano.
This is just such a fantastic event. Imagine driving your Ferrari, while having lots of other Ferraris to look at, and also the amazing scenery of Emilia region. The place looks like a part of heaven accidentally left on earth. It’s just fabulous.
Ferrari Cavalcade will take place June 27-30, 2012. Check out this teaser trailer of 2012 Ferrari Cavalcade with a Ferrari 458 Spider:
The legend of the Prancing Horse was born in Romagna. Francesco Baracca, the heroic fighter pilot from the First World War from Lugo, had a Prancing Horse Prima painted on his plan. The mother of the pilot, Countess Paolina, offered Enzo Ferrari to use the Prancing Horse as his emblem, telling him that it would bring him luck. This was the birth of the modern Prancing Horse on a yellow ground, the colour of Modena, and the colours of the Italian flag, as the symbol of the Scuderia Ferrari.
