Hyundai released pricing and details of the 2013 modelyear Accent, to reveal the car starts at $14,545. That is a full two grand more expensive than the last year model, but then the new Accent does come with an awful lot of equipments and features. All 2013 models now come with heated side mirrors, remote keyless entry and air conditioning, while SE trims also get indicators on the mirrors. Power sunroof is also available for the new model.
To give you a taste of what you get with the new Accents, the base GLS model – the 14 grand car – comes with air conditioning, AM/FM/SiriusXM Satellite Radio/CD/MP3 audio system with 6 speakers, iPod(r)/USB auxiliary input jacks, power and heated body-colored side mirrors, body-colored door handles (2012MY M/T Comfort Package) and sunglass holder as standard. That is a nice amount of kit for the money.
Details and specs of all the trims (both four- and five-door models) are as follows. The 2013 Accent features a 1.6-liter Gamma four-cylinder engine developing 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque and a best-in-class standard 30 mpg city and 40 mpg highway EPA fuel economy rating.
