Porsche Exclusive, a department responsible for coming up with cool upgrades for Porsche cars, announced a new power kit that benefits the 911 Carrera S – the 991 Series. With this kit installed, the power of the 3.8-litre boxer engine from 400 hp (294 kW) to 430 hp (316 kW). That will reduce the 0-100 km/h acceleration to 4.0 seconds dead, and increases the top speed by four km/h (306 km/h with PDK and to 308 km/h with manual).

We like the extra power but couldn’t care less how they managed to come up with it. But for those who care, the power kit includes  special cylinder heads with different camshafts and an entirely new variable resonance intake system design with six air flaps and a resonance flap. There’s also a low-pressure exhaust system with active vales in it, and a remapped electronic control unit. And how boring is all that!

The kit also comes with the Sport Chrono package which adds a couple of useful items like dynamic engine mounts, and some not so useful stuff like a stupid analog chronometer on the top of the dash.

The coolest feature of the kit for us is the modified engine compartment styling with titanium coloured engine cover and carbon inlays. Speaking of styling, Porsche Exclusive also offers a Sport Design package – basically an aero kit with a ducktail rear spoiler, or a fixed rear wing (Aerokit Cup), as well as a front lip spoiler with additional air intakes. The catalog also includes various interior upgrades.
