Alpha N 0 at Alpha N Announced 800 hp Sports Car

German tuner Alpha-N Performance decided it’s time to step things up a bit, and make their very own sports car. They call it the Alpha One, and it’s based on Porsche Cayman S. What Alpha-N does is redesign all body panels apart from the roof, and facelift the car using parts from other Porsches. They also add slick tires and lots more horsepower to the mix.

The Alpha One appears to have borrowed its headlights from Porsche Panamera, and its taillights from the new Porsche 991. Front and rear bumpers are modeled on those of the Porsche 918, and the whole car is planned not to weigh more than 1.2 tonne. The car also has considerably more width than the standard Cayman, which adds to its visual drama.

The engine Alpha-N proposes for this car is still unknown, but apparently there are different stages of tune, with the basic version developing 300 hp. That goes up to 800 hp for the high-end version.
