Aston Martin Vanquish Debuts In London

Vanquish debut at Aston Martin Vanquish Debuts In London

After a brief presence at Goodwood FoS the new Aston Martin Vanquish turns up at London Film Museum, Covent Garden, to makes its official debut in the capital of the United Kingdom. Looking splendid in white, the new Vanquish was launched in a lavish star-studded party with more than 500 Aston Martin owners and enthusiasts, and Aston CEO Dr Ulrich Bez himself.

Visitors to the event got a first-hand chance to take a close look at a brace of Vanquish models, together with a unique ‘cutaway’ display showcasing the car’s remarkable carbon fibre skin. Of course die-hard Aston fans could notice the car is based on the same VH architecture as the DBS, and has the same V12 6.0 liter engine as well. The engine is heavily tuned though and makes 573 PS and 620 Nm of torque in the Vanquish.

The 2+2 sports coupe is capable of making 60mph from nought in 4. seconds and reaching a top speed of 183 mph. Going on sale in Europe by the end of the year, the new Aston Vanquish costs £189,995.

This year Aston Martin will launch another exciting car as well, the V12 Vantage Roadster.

Aston Martin C.E.O. Dr Ulrich Bez said: “I am very happy to unveil our exceptional new supercar here in London.

“As Aston Martin is in its 100th year and prepares for the 100th birthday of the brand in January next year, the debut of this new super grand tourer means we can look forward to the next century with confidence and real excitement.” He added: “I’m very proud of the new Vanquish, and my team that have worked tirelessly to perfect it, and I’m convinced that it will quickly become one of the most sought-after and admired cars on the road.”
