On the occasion of the car’s media day at Maranello, in which members of the press will gather to drive the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta for the first time, the company released new pictures of this gorgeous V12 super GT. The F12 might not look very pretty – what with that wide mouth and headlights that look like the eyes of a creepy insect – but it has a certain charm and swagger that makes it very, very desirable.
And it has lots of talent to support its movie star looks. The F12 is powered by a 740 PS and 690Nm V12 engine that gets it from 0 to 100 km/h in slightly over 3 seconds and onto a top speed of nearly 340 km/h. Fancy electronics, a F1-style gearbox, and a traction control system that’s modeled on Fernando Alonso’s brain, are also included to let the driver make the most of that colossal power.
