Unlike Stillen who left the job of designing a body kit for the Scion FR-S to the enthusiasts, Fox Marketing is working on it themselves. They just released a teaser picture of the car, designed as a one-off for Scion Canada in collaboration with Yonaka Motorsports. Being a one-off, it will probably end up getting crushed like these Fox Marketing show cars.
But as a body kit to inspire aftermarket products, the Fox Marketing FR-S looks pretty good. The car gets an extended front bumper featuring a chin spoiler, new LED lights, a sport vented bonnet, modified side vents, sport side skirts, a tall rear spoiler, and by imagine, a big rear diffuser. A set of big wheels and a touch of lowering will complete the package.
It’s not clear yet if the car gets a power upgrade or not, but Fox Marketing rarely leaves an engine untouched.
Let’s get the record straight, only the Lexus project got crushed and none of our 70 cars over 13 years have EVER. The Lexus projects are pre production cars, and all the othe cars are from the dealer network of whatever manufacture we have worked for. This car is NOT going to be crushed, and we just designed the car. We will coordinate this project with Yonaka Motorsports then head to Canada to help put the finishing touches on the car. That are the facts here, and Yonaka Motorsports the parts manufacture will build in Ottawa as it is their car.
