Three Porsche 918 Spyders Spotted In Spain

918 Spain at Three Porsche 918 Spyders Spotted In Spain

Looks like the new Porsche 918 is on a hard testing regime. It was only a few days ago that a Martini-themed version of the car was spotted at the Nurburgring doing some performance tests. Now turns out it was dispatched to Spain right after to do more real world, open road tests. There were three 918s involved actually, as you can see in the video after the jump.

Porsche is testing the 918 extensively, because they need to make sure the car is flawless in every aspect. The 918 is the first car of its kind with a high-performance internal combustion engine and three electric motors to back it up. They have also claimed incredible performance and economy figures for it. Got to make sure the car can meet those.

What we’re really glad about is the fact that the 918 looks properly hot, at least in prototype form. The first concept version was a bit too geeky to be honest. But as it gets closer to production it’s getting nicer and nicer.
