German car makers take their heritage very very seriously, and it shows with the way they run their museums. Porsche is particularly good at this museum business. They have an amazing facility that is actually much more complicated that it first seems. They decided to reveal some of the secrets of this place in a series of videos, and we have the first part after the jump. It offers a behind the scene look at the Porsche Museum and what’s inside it.

The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart displays a rare wealth of Porsche cars that have shaped the company since 1948. However there is more. There is a wider collection of very special and important cars that belong to the Museum, that up till know, have sat in various, separate locations. Recently a new storage space was found to hold all of these wonderful cars together allowing them to be maintained and cared for all under one roof.
