In his latest video Chris Harris addresses a question he’s been asked too many times on forums: is the Porsche Panamera Diesel fast? He has been running one of these for the past four or five months, and although he admits he was skeptical about it at first, he’s grown to love its blend of comfort, refinement, handling, and speed. That last part, speed, needs elaborating, because you see this two-ton car has a 250-hp diesel V6.

So Chris took the car to the Millbrook Proving Ground and set about testing its acceleration and top speed.

With numbers like 6.6 seconds for 0 to 60, and top speed of 150 mph, Chris manages to prove that Panamera Diesel is fast enough. As the man says: “in what world do we live where 150mph is not fast!” This is a brilliant car. It can even drift, if you push it like an absolute bugger. But like many others, we’re still struggling to like its looks.
