Earlier today we brought you the official teaser video for Peugeot’s new concept car, the Onyx. Official materials are yet to be released by the French car maker, but a Russian website somehow could get its hands on some of the official pictures of the car, giving us an early look at this magnificent hybrid sports car.

Well, the rumors suggest it’s a hybrid with about 270 horsepower. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it almost certainly is a hybrid. Whatever it’s got under the hood though, we don’t care because it’s totally overshadowed by the way this thing looks. Unfortunately, Peugeot has shown a million times they don’t have the guts to make most of their concept cars. The only great concept that made it to production unscathed was the RCZ. In fact, the fancier a Peugeot concept looks, the less likely it is to be produced. Pity.
