McLaren’s Special Operations unit is really keeping busy these days as orders keep coming in. After finishing the astonishing, but frankly pointless, McLaren X-1 for a rich dude, they have now prepared a unique MP4-12C known as Projet 8, for another rich dude! This 12C is apparently only made to a complement a special livery they’ve applied to the client’s McLaren F1.

It is way more than just a paint job though, as this 12C gets a couple of bespoke MSO bits and pieces such as the front bumper, vented fenders, and an interior trimmed to match the exterior. The cabin, even in the pictures, look a bit overwhelming, but then it’s just designed to be unique, and in that aspect, it rocks.

The interior is a sea of red leather, complemented with white accents. The exterior features the exact opposite of that, with white color dominating everything, and red accents adorning some of the parts like the front lip, brake calipers, side vents and the rims outer lips.
