The new 41-mpg Dodge Dart Aero received its price tag and it reads $19,295. The Aero tries to offer a good compromise between power and fuel efficiency, equipped with Fiat’s 1.4 liter MultiAir with a healthy 184 lb.-ft. of torque. It can be had with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed Dual Dry Clutch Transmission (DDCT).
Dart Aero also differs from the rest of the range in terms of equipment. The car comes as standard with 10 standard airbags, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control, cruise control, auto headlamps, air conditioning with micron filter, power windows and locks, power mirrors, remote keyless entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, projector headlamps and class-exclusive LED ‘racetrack’ taillamps.
It can also be specified with the 8.4-inch touchscreen media center and 7-inch TFT reconfigurable gauge cluster. The car is also a IIHS Top Safety Pick.
