At the Sao Paulo Motor Show Hyundai, its Brazilian subsidiary of course, revealed a new crossover version of the HB20 model. It is based on the HB20 Hatchback, but sort of jacked up and manned up a bit. The crossover is known as the HB20X and gets its own unique design features.

Compared to the hatchback model, the crossover has a redesigned front bumper, headlights with black bezels, chrome detailing, black moldings, modified rear bumpers and lights, roof bars, and new 15-inch dark gray alloy wheels.

The cabin is pretty much identical to the hatchback, with the HB20X getting some extras such as sports pedals, chrome finishing for door handles and air conditioning controls, as well as blue double stitches for the steering wheel and seats.

The HB20X gets the 1.6 16V FLEX with 128hp engine, with a choice of either manual or automatic gearbox. The 1.0 liter engine is not offered with this model.
