In their latest P1-related video, McLaren asks some of the company’s principals what are their thoughts on the new hyper car. We have the design director Frank Stephenson, sales director Juan-Louis Baldanza, and junior designer Paul Howse. And they all put an emphasize on “organic efficiency” as the main feature of P1’s design. They wanted to arrive at the best compromise between form and function, which led them to the fat that “Beautiful forms are efficient“.
To see the McLaren P1 in final production trim, you have to wait until 2013 Geneva Motor Show. That is when they will reveal what kind of powertrain the new British super car is using.
